Real Foods vs. Fake Foods

I came across an article that pitted real foods against fake foods. Foods like butter vs. margarine, bacon vs. turkey bacon, eggs vs egg beaters and a few others. Since we prescribe to the practice of a Paleolithic diet on this website, we know that the foods that humans have been eating the longest are the very foods that we’re the best adapted to. So this being said, there is a website that lists the time in which certains came into existence, Food Timeline. Eating real foods is essential to being healthy and avoiding the diseases that are plaguing our society; diabetes, obesity, and cancer to name a few.

4. Great post and article. I used to work in the food processing industry. So believe me when I say that the words "meat" and "mechanical extruder" should not be next to each other in a sentence... :-)
